As always, for those of you who are interested in owning rental property and curious about what that looks like, we would love to chat with you. In the meantime, let’s take a look at where we finished 2024, where we are looking at a slight uptick in vacancy rates across King County at just under 3.85% which is just a skosh over the same time last year, while we see that the average days on market sat at the same 27 days. We expect to see that tick up in January, as it tends to do every year, before heating up as we head into springtime. By the way… can it just be spring already? IT’S COLD OUT THERE! Anyway, I digress… looking at rental rates across King county… those seem to continue to heat up (inflation, anyone?)The average rental rate for a 3 bedroom, single family rental home in King county is fetching nearly $4300 per month, while the average 3 bedroom multi-family home closed the year out at just over $3800.
