Video Transcript – February 2026 Seattle Rental Market Update:
[Aaron]: So what is happening in the world of property management here in the Seattle area? Well, I’m glad that you asked! Let’s start with a look at the latest stats. Starting with vacancy rates, looking at this chart, you’ll see that vacancy rates across King County are still sitting at 3.9%, which is about where we were last month, and about an 1/8 uptick from last year. Still, a very healthy market, indeed. Even through the winter months, RE/MAX Integrity Property Management is locking down new tenants in a matter of days from listing, far less than the Average Days on Market of 27, which frankly is a testament to our team’s preparation, pricing, and promotion of our rental listings, if I may say so! Lastly, let’s take a look at the average rents. In King County, the median rent for a 3-bedroom single family home is sitting at $3,792 per month, which is just a few bucks less than last month.
